8 week intermediate wheel throwing

Our 8-week intermediate wheel throwing sessions are designed for potters who already know their way around the wheel and want more time to really settle in. More throwing. More repetition. More space to explore, refine, and follow what’s pulling you in your work.

Guidance is available throughout, but the direction of the work is largely yours, whether that means refining a single form, pushing scale, or simply getting more comfortable through repetition.

With 10 kgs of clay and ongoing support, this class encourages curiosity and experimentation. The longer format allows you to stay with ideas longer, work through challenges as they come up, and develop a rhythm at the wheel that feels natural rather than rushed.

The session includes two glazing days and two firings for finished work.

Designed for potters with prior wheel experience, this session offers space, time, and freedom to deepen your practice and spend more time doing what you love: working with clay.

Your pottery will be ready for pickup in approximately three weeks.
