guardian.
3. Minimum Attendance Requirement
All classes and workshops require a minimum of four (4) registered participants to proceed. If
the minimum enrolment is not met, Studio Ceramica reserves the right to cancel the class.
Participants will be notified at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance and offered the option to
rebook into a future class or receive studio credit.
4. Studio Environment
We aim to create a positive and welcoming studio environment where everyone can enjoy their
time creating art together. We respectfully ask that all participants keep noise levels low and
remain considerate of others.
In order for everyone to feel safe and comfortable in our studio, any form of harassment,
discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. Please follow the instructions given
by our staff and make sure to follow all safety guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable
experience.
For the safety and well-being of all participants, the use of alcohol or drugs during studio

5. Late Arrival Policy
We kindly ask that you arrive fifteen (15) minutes before the scheduled start of class to
ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Please understand that late arrivals may not be able to
join once instruction has begun, as this can disrupt the class and compromise safety. Any missed
instruction due to late arrival is the participant's responsibility. Unfortunately, we are unable to
offer refunds, credits, or rescheduling for late arrivals.
6. Bookings, Cancellations & Transfers
6.1 Classes & Workshops
Please be aware that all bookings for our classes and workshops are non-refundable. If you are

7. Materials & Equipment
Participants are required to use studio-provided clay to protect the kiln and maintain quality
standards. Unlimited clay is available for registered participants, and any unused clay must
remain in the studio. Tools and equipment should be used correctly and only for their intended
purpose. Any damage, malfunction, or safety concerns should be reported to staff promptly.
Please note that personal belongings brought into the studio are the participant's responsibility,
and Studio Ceramica is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
8. Labeling & Organization
All works must be clearly labeled using the post-it notes provided by the studio. Proper labeling
ensures organization, safe storage, and accurate identification for firing and pickup. Unlabeled or
improperly labeled items may be discarded.
9. Studio Ceramica's Commitment to Quality
Pottery is a combination of art and science. Breakage, warping, cracking, or glaze irregularities
may occur during drying and firing. While every piece is handled with care, Studio Ceramica
cannot guarantee the survival or final appearance of any piece.
Glaze results, surface finishes, and final outcomes are not guaranteed to match examples,
samples, or expectations. No refunds, credits, or remakes will be issued for breakage or aesthetic
outcomes.
If you have any concerns about your pottery, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We value
your satisfaction and will do our best to address any issues that may arise.
10. Photography & Media Policy
Please note that Studio Ceramica reserves the right to use any photographs or videos taken
during classes or events for marketing and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be included
in any media, be sure to inform our staff before the session begins.
11. Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk
Participation in studio activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to exposure to
dust, chemicals, sharp tools, rotating equipment, hot surfaces, and heavy objects. By
participating, you voluntarily assume all such risks and acknowledge that injuries, accidents, or
property damage may occur.
Participants must notify studio staff of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or allergies prior
to participation. Kilns and restricted equipment may be operated only with explicit staff consent
and supervision.
12. Liability, Waiver, & Indemnity
Please note that by participating in studio activities at Studio Ceramica, you are agreeing to
release the studio from any liability and to indemnify and defend the studio against any claims
arising from your actions. You will be asked to sign a waiver to accept these terms upon arrival at
the studio.

Studio Ceramica will notify participants when fired pieces are ready for pickup. Finished work
must be collected within one (1) month of notification. Items not collected within this timeframe
may be discarded due to space and safety constraints.
14: Force Majeure
Please note that Studio Ceramica is not responsible for cancellations, interruptions, or delays due
to circumstances beyond our control, such as power outages, severe weather, building access
restrictions, government mandates, or instructor unavailability. If such situations arise, we will
offer you the choice to reschedule or receive studio credit. Please understand that refunds cannot
be issued in these cases. Thank you for your understanding.
